Having graduated as a Historian from Warwick University I spent the following 25 years working within the fixed income markets, running trading desks for investment banks and as a partner at one of the top global inter-dealer brokerages.
During this time, I accumulated a residential and commercial property portfolio, learning at first hand the benefits of asset diversification. Having gained an institutional financial investment background, I became increasingly disillusioned with the financial advice I received from private bankers and IFAs. I found it to be expensive, restricted, and not always in the customer’s best interests.
As a result, Walden Capital was born when I and several similarly experienced and like-minded individuals believed we could deliver a premium wealth management experience at an excellent price, tailored purposefully to individuals’ needs and concerns.
Ten years later Walden Capital is a fast growing, highly successful and vibrant firm still committed to our founding principles.
My children have mostly flown the nest and hockey has been swapped for more sedate pastimes such as cycling, yoga and exploring the world!
