Walden Capital hosted a wonderful Women and Wealth event recently at Saffron Hall. Dr Lead Broad and BBC Music Magazine Award-winning violinist Fenella Humphreys unite in an inspiring collaboration exploring the forgotten voices of four trailblazing female composers – Ethel Smyth, Rebecca Clarke, Doreen Carwithen and Dorothy Howell.
Joined by pianist Nicola Eimer, we were introduced to the lives of these remarkable composers through their journals and correspondence in an uplifting afternoon of words and music.
We had a wonderful afternoon listening to the powerful concert by two amazing female artists. It was extremely inspirational, and we were delighted to hear that our guests who attended also had a wonderful time; thank you all for attending.
