Just down the road, our close neighbours, The Saffron Walden Golf Club are co-hosting the England Golf Senior Men’s Strokeplay Championship on the 3rd to 6th June 2024.

Saffron Walden Golf Club is nestled at the edge of our hometown, Saffron Walden, a medieval town of 16,000 or so on the Essex/Cambs borders. It is a picturesque and challenging 18-hole course kept in fantastic condition and set into beautiful surroundings, adjacent to the world-famous Audley End House and Estate, frequented by Royalty, and dating back to the 1600’s.
The English Senior Men’s Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship is open to golfers aged 55 or over on the first day of the championship and is played over 3 days and 54 holes.
