We were delighted to host a wealth management careers forum for local sixth formers within our office last week.
The forum consisted of presentations and Q&A sessions from our CEO, Head of Operations, Head of Technical and one of our advisers.
They were naturally inquisitive and only stopped asking questions when lunch appeared! The most shocking revelation for them being that potentially 40% of their accrued lifetime’s wealth could be confiscated by the taxman unless they had a financial plan in place.
One day perhaps all school leavers will have the benefit of personal finance being on the curriculum.
