Cost structure

Clear, honest fees based around client centric approach to financial advice. Very few financial advisory businesses are transparent about the cost of their services to clients. Fees can often be hidden behind opaque products which are difficult to understand.

Our service and costs

Walden Capital provides a complete Advisory Wealth Management solution.

This is constructed from an initial meeting where the only commitment is your time. Following on from this meeting we will research your situation and make recommendations. Should you choose to engage with us further we will ask you to sign our client agreement.

Investment Costs and Charges

Our primary area of business is the provision of independent financial advice.

There is a cost for this service. The cost is generally related to the amount of money we are being asked to advise
on and the complexity of the solutions we recommend.

For each new investment we will charge 1% of the amount to be invested. We will provide a firm quote of costs that you will incur before commencing any chargeable work. Each new investment is subject to a maximum charge cap of £30,000. This payment can either be taken from your investment upon receipt by
the policy provider or paid directly by you.

We also provide an ongoing advice service, for which we charge a competitive 0.95% which reduces to as little as 0.25% per annum, as the value of your investments oveseen by us grows.

FAQ's

We do not impose a ‘hard’ limit on the value of assets upon which you ask us to provide advice. It is, however, the case that with the increasing costs of providing a high quality regulated service it can be impractical to offer advice on smaller pots of wealth.  A typical new client will ask us to provide advice on between £400,000 and £5,000,000.  This would be made up of cash, ISAs, pensions, and other investments.

Yes.  Although it would be important to add that pension transfers are a complex area, and the success or failure of the choice to transfer can be dependent on how you act in years to come, so we generally suggest that our ongoing advice service will provide valuable benefits to a pension transfer customer.

We bring expertise, calmness, and a rigid attention to detail to your affairs.  Research has shown that a financial adviser provides many benefits beyond simply investment advice.  Financial behavioural coaching can help you achieve peace of mind, and cashflow forecasting will bring you confidence that your plans and goals are truly achievable.
